Why Beirut Installations Fail (And How We Build Around It)

A spec sheet claiming 140 lumens per watt means nothing if the fixture’s internal temperature hits 105°C within an hour of operation on a Beirut rooftop. That’s the gap between a lab result and a real installation and it’s the gap most imported fixtures don’t survive.

Voltage spikes: generator switching regularly pushes 260V+ through circuits built for a stable 220V. Our drivers are specified and tested for that swing, not just the textbook number.
Thermal load: Beirut summers push ambient and rooftop temperatures well past what most imported chips are binned for. We specify high-efficacy LED chips that hold their output and lifespan under sustained heat, not just at room temperature.
Power cycling: frequent on/off switching between mains and generator shortens the life of cheap drivers. Ours are built for it.
